Newbie xj owner

    Hello, bought an 82 xj750 about a month ago. I have it stripped down to the frame and motor for a frame sanding and painting. Absolutely love this site and frequent it everyday for tips and advice. You guys are awesome and explain a lot in the forums. It's funny but my daughter says I'll never get it running again. She doesn't know about this forum and it's my secret weapon. I have literally printed off volumes of "how to's" and i have the haynes book, so there's a hope and a prayer. I plan on bobbing the bike and luckily have several friends who are very mechanically inclined in street bikes. Just a brief hello and thank you for all the info so far and too come!

    I also have another ace in the hole. Chacal is not very far away with all the parts. I'm located in the North Ga. mountains. Maybe I can pull this off.......
