I've seen similar boots on JCWhitney.com. What you need to find out is the height or length of the boot so the carb rack will mount up and the measurement between the mounting bolts to the head. Of course these boots don't have vacuum nipples.

ok, this is probably a really noob question, but what difference do the vacuum nipples make?

need the vacuum nipples to do a running synch and to operate the petcock.

OK. So I'm really new to this. What are the drawbacks to not being able to do a running sync, and not being able to operate the petcock?

running synch balances your carbs and makes it so your cylinders are working together nice and even. petcock is what allows your fuel to run out of your tank and into your carb and then to your motor. you can get a petcock that is not operated by vacuum if necessary.

If your old intake boots are cracked and creating vacuum leaks you definitely should buy new boots. I paid around 200$ for 4 new boots for a XJ750. Probably best to stick with the original factory boots. You also will need to have a carb synch tool to tune the carbs. After I cleaned up my carbs the bike ran like junk until the carbs were synched - after that it ran pretty decently. Carbtune sysnch pro through XJ4ever will cost around $100 but if you plan on synching ur carbs u will need these. Carbtune is a few more dollars than some other gages but they dont use fluid - they use metal rods which should hold up a lot better over the long run.

Those boots will not work. They do not have the proper angle to mount the carb rack to the head.
PM Chacal for a price quote.

Thanks for all of the info. Will PM Chacal for prices on OEM parts. Just haven't been able to find OEM, which is why I looked at these.
