I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me out with a problem that I'm having with an 83 yamaha maxim 650. The bike came with a front fairing and bags which I removed today. The bike had been running fine all the way up untill I started to get the headlight assembly put back on. Now the bike won't even make a peep when I hit the starter. I did leave the key on and might have drained the battery or might just have a grounded wire I'm not really sure. DOes anyone have a wiring diagram for this style of motorcycle? I have always been a car/truck guy and this is my first project with a motorcycle. SO if anyone has experience removing a factory fairing and bags, let me know, thanks in advance.

Look at all the connections in the headlight. Maybe you unhooked a wire by mistake

You know you left the ignition on and might have drained the battery.

Start by fully charging the battery.
