Anyone heard of them or have any experience with them?

They sell a set of 8 friction discs for 48.00.

"Yes I carry the clutch plates for the 1983 Yamaha XJ750 Maxim they are 48.00 for the set of 8 fiber plates.
Sorry I do not carry the bolts, the springs, nor the gasket.

Anyone know of a cheap place to find the plain plates? My clutch has been slipping a bit more lately and I fear that me putting off the rebuild for too long has made it so that its going to cost me more money now

You shouldnt need new plain plates as long as yours arent warped or burned. Just clean em up real good with some scotchbrite.

I sure wish I could remember exactly what I bought for the XJ650 clutch...I'd buy the same set for the 750 now if I needed it.

Got the stuff from JC Whitney, a set of Kevlar impregnated discs and 20% over springs, separate items, for around $90 total, seems like.

Was very happy with the performance of the clutch after that. Never could pull a wheelie on that thing even when the clutch was still good...after, it was no big deal...in fact did the first unexpectedly doing a high-rpm holeshot...woohoo! Then I found that I could give the throttle a couple of pumps in first gear and whack it, and she'd stand up and beg. Probably woulda been better off not knowing all that...some powers can only be used for evil...

TRUE. XJ4Ever has your springs, washers, gaskets, etc. Plus "aftermarket" friction plates (K&L) competitively priced.

I had planned on getting the gasket/springs/bolts from len if not found cheaper elsewhere.

I was going to get the friction discs from him as well, but the price is double: (Hence why i was wondering if anyone had experience with other ones)

So where did you end up getting your parts from? I'm looking too. I've seen some EBC friction plate kits on eBay for ~$60.00 delivered...
