so after a long summer , going threw divorce, moved back to my parents house but there is a positive to all this madness, its having money to do what i wanted to this bike when i bought it, finally got it running few days ago after battery died so bad it woudnt even hold a charge. and been riding it around last few days...

was on google images looking at what others have done and stumbled across this.

and thinking of doing something close to this...

from a post on flicker, he used a street tracker seat, master is from a GSXR and electronics and clutch handle are factory. Rearsets are universal fitment from a machinist in France If i remember correctly.

i emailed him hoping he can give me more of specific on what parts he actualy used.... from what i can see .

    drag bars?
    turn signals led's
    painted headlight black
    painted wheels black
    exhausted painted
    new rear shockes (sportsters?)
    rear fender with seat.
    air box eliminated with pods
    new grips
new break line up front, (blue)

additional thoughts, how hard would it be to repaint the front lower forks black ? and also the motor black? i guess getting the surface preped would be the hardest part of it all, but i know i need to repaint my frame so since the motor has to come out, thought about painting it as well, ive done research on her about blacking out a motor, but dont see many people posting pictures of them painted black.

any thoughts or suggestions, i would be appreciated, im at the planning stage right now, going to enjoy the bike a few more weeks before fall is officialy here in ohio before i start tearing her apart.

this is the current state of the bike... besides the handlebar tassels LOL

not a big deal to paint the forks or motor just make sure you get them nice and clean.

actually, now i look at it more, looks like the rank was raised in the back to make it level, cause you can see the backbone of the seat area on the frame..... i could be wrong but i think im right.

yeah that guy also cut the frame rails in back .you can buy that seat all day on ebay or make your own with spray foam and fiberglass or my preferred method...... wood and fiberglass.

hope you get the result your going for and the folks here will help that happen

oh the other guy also has (whispering)..................."pods" you should read the post about those if you are considering them

    keep us posted

i like the conecpt of the open airway and looks like it would be a more clean setup, but i know it will force me to retune the bike after installing them because its different airflow to the carbs, which is obvious. well see though.

yea i already did reaserch on the seat and ebay was like 200 with the seat included.

I am building something similar. Here is a picture of the tail section I am using. I don't have any pictures with the seca 750 tank yet.
