    1981 Yamaha SECA 750, 28,200 miles and climbing (still riding almost daily), Just inspected at O'Briens.

    Shaft Drive!!

    This is a great 'Step Up' bike for a rider that is used to a 500cc and smaller bike.

    Mechanically Excellent - Work that has been performed, by me, since I acquired it is:

    All top end gaskets
    Cylinders honed
    New rings
    All valves and valve seats checked and repaired as needed
    Valve clearances checked and shims changed as needed
    Carbs fully torn down, ultrasonically cleaned
    New carb shaft seals, diaphragms, float needles, screws replaced with allen head
    Vacuum Synced
    Tank cleaned and lined (see video at Photobucket)
    Petcock rebuilt

    During the past month............
    Regulator, TCI, Turn Signal Canceler, Battery, all Bulbs

    Also comes with the XJBIKES.COM Reference CD (Manuals, How To's, Etc)

    If anything, the paint job could be better.

    I DO NOT NEED TO SELL HER!!! Just looking to upgrade into the 1000cc to 1100cc range.

    $1,250, FIRM, is a fair and honest price. Just look at the service work you will not need to do.

    I still ride every chance I get, so like I mentioned, the mileage will increase. So far this year I have riden around 3 of the Finger Lakes and will continue to do more.

    Now for serious.....did you tell the new owner about this site, xjog, and the CNYCC? If it's someone close enough, it would be fun to have them come to the next carb clinic!
