Alright so heres the deal. I'm new to xjs but I am pretty good at fixing bikes. I am in the process of rewiring my 82 xj650 (thought it was a 750 on account of the previous owner telling me that) this just doesn't look right to me. The connector doesn't match the tci box. I've never heard it fire so I don't even know if its the right tci. Anyone with a 650 j know if they are meant to be like this? One pin on the tci is not connected to anything and one wire from the connector is not connected to a pin.
By the way the manual shows the connector is correct for the year. I just don't know if the box is.
