Here's a nice original seat from a 1981 XJ750 Seca. It is in great shape. No rips or tears. It is showing some lights stains here and there, but it may clean up. Should fit XJ750 from 1981 through 1983. $65 plus shipping from Illinois. Paypal "Gift" or money order.

Typically speaking, these bike frames are different enough that the seats are not interchangeable between engine displacements, however model years do not matter.

IE: You can swap it with ANY XJ750, and any XJ650 seat is swappable, however you cannot swap an XJ650 and XJ750 seat. It's in how they lock in place.

The 550's, as JPaganel said, are a completely different beast - the lock mechanism is at the back of the seat in the document compartment. Then again, the 550's are very different in more than just that sense.
