I know many people use Seca or Seca tanks for cafe bikes but I have a XJ750 no Seca. I am contemplating Clubman bars but do not think there is clearance for them with my tank. So what I had in mind was strategic denting of the tank. Anyone have any advice on this? I have a friend that is a body man so I would have a skilled hand if anything goes badly. Was wondering if any one has done this or heard of it really.

you could just beef up your stopper on the neck of your frame. That's what I did anyway.

Dishing the tank has been around for a long time. A member post one for sale about 6 months ago. Look in the forums, he might still have it.

I have my straight cut clips ons pretty low, if you go low enough they will clear the tank because of the curvature inwards, its an agressive riding position though. I haven't ridden too much with it yet. I am considering cutting and turning the tank fronts inside out if the clip ons are too low at the moment.
