XJ750RJ Fork Bushings

    As I mentioned in another post, during a fork rebuild I ended up having to cut out one of the (outer?) fork bushings (5g2-23125-00-00). This bushing is discontinued, however, it looks like Race Tech makes a suitable alternate: FMBO 36152 P. It's specs: ID=36mm, Height=15mm, and thickness=2mm, giving it an overall OD=40mm. Looks like a winner to me; anybody else ever had to replace one of these bushings? Or am I the only moron to mess one up? Can anyone else confirm that this is the right size bushing?

    Is that for the pair/set, or for one?
    Almost makes it more worthwhile searching for the kits...

    The $29.95 is for a pair. I ended up ordering them yesterday. I scoured the web for other alternate bushings, in and out of kits but couldn't find an exact fit. I did find some alternate Yamaha OEM bushings, but they were only 12mm high, vice 15mm. Not sure it would have made a difference, but I decided not to risk it...

    FWIW, I received my bushings from Race Tech yesterday, and they are in fact the correct size and an exact replacement for obsolete Yamaha part # 5G2-23125-00-00 (items 7 and 45 on the parts breakdown). I bought a pair and only needed one. If anyone needs one, PM me; $20 shipped to you (in US).
