Hi all, just bought up a '94 600cc Seca II and am joining the fold!

This is my second bike, my first being an '84 400cc Seca. I loved that bike so much so when I found the opportunity to buy up a younger sibling that is a bit sportier I pounced!

I don't have very much mechanical experience but I plan to really treasure this bike and take care of it personally and completely so I will most likely be asking lots of questions in the future!

For starters I will ask for some advice on manuals, Clymer vs. Haynes, XJCD a good resource?

Thanks, I'll add some pics up shortly..

    Jamesg89,

Welcome. Nice bike. I can't tell, does that bike have dual mufflers?

Edit: Sweet! Yeah, I can see it now through the rear wheel in the first pic.

I find clymers more user friendly and Haynes more in depth. The xjcd has some good info, but most of it has been assimilated into this website at this point.

XJ's are great bikes. My last bike was also an XJ, and I also went with a later generation of the same motor for my next bike. :)

Haynes can be had for less than $30 including shipping brand new off of Ebay. (Though, I don't know about Canadian shipping... Maybe a bit over $30 for you canucks.)
