    Hello All,

This is an awesome site with really great communication. I have
been in lurk mode here for a long time, learning a lot from all the
postings. I live in Mena, AR, near the border with OK, about half
way between Ft. Smith and Texarkana. Will be 66 this year and
still riding. I have an '82 XJ750RJ Seca with a side hack, an '82
XJ650RJ Seca, almost road ready, and just got an '81 XJ650LH,
Midnight Maxim, carbs being rebuilt and it should be ready to go
pretty soon. I am happily retired, love life and love my bikes. :D

If you should pass through here, I am always ready to have lunch
    with a fellow XJer.

    Thanks,

    Jim

A hearty welcome Jim! AZ has some amazing scenery, sounds inviting. I hope my daughter's Opa is still kicking on a bike when he hits 66!

Welcome to the fold. Glad to hear you are still enjoying you xj's as much as the rest of us. Hopefully I will be able to enjoy my bike at your age. I am more than halfway there so time will tell. Have a good one. Feel free to jump in where you want.

65 next Saturday and I love riding as much now as when I was a snotty nosed kid, just wish her indoors felt the same. My eldest grandaughter loved a ride on the bike back in England but sadly my grandson didn't have the bottle.

Have my bike running again, ticking over nicely and the new BP8ES plugs are staying dry and clean so am fairly confident I have ironed out the faults. Plan to take her down the mountain tomorrow and see if she'll come back up again without the towrope attached, bought a new one just in case though.

Hey Jim, good to see you here and I would love to here more about your bikes. I hate it when problems arise but talking about it makes it easier on the next person who reads about it. Welcome and see you around the site. I'm 48 years old and closing in on ya so maybe you can give me some tips on your secrets to riding at 77. If my legs ever give out someday I'll probably drop my XJ motor in a trike and gut out the back so I can roll my wheelchair on it and lock'er down for the ride.
