progressive fork springs

    i got my seca fork springs for being a good boy this year and found the spacers that came with them are way too short.
    anyone else run into this?

    Should have got straight wound Sonic springs.

    Yep. maybe they are for some BMW or such that they also listed for. Made my own, after a coupla variations and ended up with 85mm which gives about 30mm of static sag. That was after checking i had the right springs in the right box with the right number on it.

    i took a guess and came up with 80mm, close enough. but it's too cold now to give it a test.
    two reasons i didn't go for the sonic springs.
    never heard of them
    they don't list them for a xj750 or 650 or 550, maxims or secas

    Was a few years ago so I am fuzzy on the details. I communicated with Len and the progressive customer service and came up with this. I honsetly don't remember how I calculated this, but 60mm works fine, I'm sure 80mm would be great. Don't know if any better info has come out in the last 3 years.
