    I recently purchased a 86 xj700 maxim (airhead). She is a beautiful bike. Both fast and loud. She was rebuilt very recently. She has 4 into 2 exhaust headers on her. What makes it loud is the exhaust stops right after that. She also has pods installed. I verified the nice sandpaper spark plugs and test rode it to verify the proper jetting. Only issue she had was an old battery, I replaced it with a sealed AGM and she is on fire.
