Carb missing pieces question

    I took off the tops of all 4 of my carbs pulled out the springs removed the diaphram and notices it was missing somthing .There was a hole with threads in it and after doing some hunting I found a pic of one and I dont have the gold bracket in any of my carbs held down with the screw that fits into the threads i noticed.Is this a major problem?I dont have the gold half round bar. k apperently its a "jet cover"

    The plate that covers the jets under the diaphram was not used on all models and from what I have heard it is not technically needed on any of them.
