Uship.com is a service to put up for bid shipping jobs. I am trying to get a motorcycle home that is not in driving conditions. What have you guys done to ship an entire motorcycle?

So far I have a quote to ship it from Columbus, OH to Charlotte, NC for just over $300.

If you found someplace that will do it for that, with a non-running motorcycle, you're doing good.

I had my '83 shipped from Lake Geneva, WI to here in MI for around that, but every place I talked to insisted the bike had to be able to be started. In my situation, it wasn't an issue.

Won't your Subaru tow a U-haul trailer? You could save about $100 and have an adventure to boot! I always like to meet the seller myself, sometimes a new friend, sometimes extras thrown in for free. Of course if your time is finite and your car needs to be preserved $300 is still a great deal. I've heard good things about Uship but haven't used them.

Well... after watching the bids going down all day yesterday and not trying to be greedy (stop before they fill their haulers). I ended the bid for the job at $200, they offered live GPS tracking and is on a single car enclosed trailer (sounds like first class to me).

The company who won the bid had a perfect score and reviews on uship so I will keep y'all posted once the job is done.

That is not a bad price at all to have a bike shipped to your house.
