Miscellaneous '82 XJ550 parts FS

I have a seat that's been recovered by Sargent Seats including a gel insert for the rider and new foam for the rest of the seat. The seat is in "like new" condition. $125 OBO.

One right side muffler in good condition with minimal pitting or scratches. $15

One exhaust header and collector assembly in good condition, some bluing on the exhuast pipes. $25

One silver right side cover without plastic chrome enhancement. $5

Four turn signal lenses, two in average condtion (lenses only) and two in very good condition (these include the metal stalk). $10 for all of them.

One carb assembly purchased for spare parts. Slides work and carbs function, there's some minor rust on two of the chromed tops. If you know Yamaha's then you know what I'm talking about. $30 OBO.

Come on!!!! Help a buddy out here! I plan on turning the cash proceeds into a new tank bag for one of my other bikes.

 

I might be interested in the exhaust pipes if you still have them around.

 

I'm interested in the sidepanel, let me look and see if its the side i need (the one i have just now is cracked, just can't remember off the top of my head which side its on)
If it is the one i need how much would you sell it for?

As of now the exhaust parts, side cover, and carbs are spoken for.

The seat is still available but will go on eBay if not sold by tomorrow.

The turn signal parts are still available.

The carbs, exhaust parts, and side cover are sold. I still have the turn signal parts, a helmet lock w/key assembly (not pictured), and a gas cap w/o key.

I also have the seat. The seat's going on eBay if no one buys it. Here's a chance to treat your 550 buns to some tender riding!! Come on!! Make me an offer on this schweet seat! Did I mention the cover is all new as is the foam plus a gel insert in the rider section??? Your butt will love you!

Thanks for the recent inquiries! Everything is sold with the exception of the reworked seat.

Please take a look at it and consider making me an offer because all it's doing is sitting in my garage with a frown on its face.

So, how about buying the seat and putting a smile on your butt, the seat, and your face!!!

 

Do you know if that seat will fit an 82 650 maxim?? I'm always confused as to what parts fit what bikes.

I do not however, this site offers a pretty sweet CD set containing just about everything you'd ever want to know about XJ's or perhaps someone else could chime in with a reply.

My "gut" feel is that the 550 and 650 Maxim frames are close in size so I would suspect that the seat would fit.
