You shouldn't need to disassemble the engine because of a neutral switch problem.

But it will require removal of a few pieces to gain access.

    Beautiful bike; welcome!

Welcome brother from across the Atlantic! There is nothing wrong with keeping a sweet XJ in pristine stock condition. That one isn't old enough to be vintage, but as far as your bike goes, C'est magnifique!

    Nice CX also.

    Salut Daniel!
    Francois

    Hey Daniel!
You own a very nice bike!
I'm about to buy an '83 Seca 900 next to my place here in Quebec, Canada. I'll post some pictures as soon as I make the deal.
I'll be back for some questions for the group.
    Take care!

Thanks for your hospitality, this is cool.

Hi Dragoolash, clean and transform you confuses, do you see what modifies because I planned manufacturing a "bobber" but with spoked wheels.

Hi Bigfitz52, but not completely disassemble the place is not practical.

    A+

Hi Daniel, Welcome Brother, you have as I am sure you already know, found one of the best Web Pages on the net. I drop in here when ever possible and always leave after learning something I didn't know before I came in or I find myself having a different perspective on a problem I have had on my mind usually for some time. Your Bike pictures really bring some class to these pages, thanks. After a long night finishing putting together a new computer I just built I must admit as your bike pics flashed past my eyes I did wake up a bit. Best of luck in your endeavors and come back soon. grunt 007 (Larry) xj 750 Yamaha Seca, 81' (still waiting on me to take the old gal apart.)
