YEA! I picked up my bike yesterday from the shop, and its running great, thank you everyone who gave me some advice on how to fix my bike, but i'm just not mechinal enough to figure it out on my own, as it turns out they didn't find anything, just that there was too much oil, but they replaced my oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, did an oil change, fixed my rear brake pedal, and replaced my clutch lever.. they told me the mostly likely the reason why my bike didn't start was to much oil, cuz it might of been burning out the plugs, don't know if that is the case or not, but oh well, its running and running great so i'm happy, will be getting some pictures of my bike, and these are (what i considered) the before pictures as now its up and running great, its time to concerate on making the bike look pretty (maybe a little more girly, thats mostly to infurtate the guys are work) Anyone in the WI area know of any good body paint shops that would paint a tank and side panels??
Will post pictures soon! Thanks everyone this is a great site and i will defenlty be here more to learn more about my bike! thanks all!

Great news Lindsey...I'm so happy for you! :) Now you can get some riding in too and the pretty stuff is always more fun to work on than getting it to run right. Can't wait to see what you do to add the girly touch to it.

Gotta LOVE that silver frost paint... that was my bike's original colour and boy it looks good when it's polished up nice!

Alas, time came I had to replace the tank, and just could not find another in silver frost. Luckily I got a full set of tank & side covers - my existing red ones now. Also luckily - the wife likes red :)

yeah that is a nice bike. Great to hear it is running again. If he doesn't want the fairing/windshield, I'll take it.

Oh yeah...a deffo keeper of a bike! Looks to be in fine shape and one to be proud of. I do like that color too but you mentioned painting it. What color did you have in mind? I don't really like my color and the tank is in great shape, but I may paint it emerald green this summer...can't wait!
