swapping xj700 to a xj750 motor?

    what all would be needed to do to swap a xj700 to a xj750, as far as ignition goes? coils, ignitor, switch, stator? can any of those be reused or replaced?

    You should run the 2 "pickups" , 2 main coils, and TCI "spark box" for the proper motor.

    The key ignition simply powers-on the bike.

    The stators are the same, except the Police 750. Check and clean your brushes (and safety check your brakes - tires \/ )

    ya i was afraid id have to change the tci, lol. but i thought i could reuse the the coils, since they make universal ones?
