    That looks like a nice build. A few years ago a different shop did a supercharged T-Max. I don't think they ever got enough interest to go ahead and make a kit available :cry: supercharged-yamaha-tmax

    The T-Max handles quite well from stock; a few more ponies won't change that much. I suggest that doubters check out their local scooter scene. Modern scooters are far removed from the cushman your grandpa rode.

    If smaller is more to your liking; the BWS 125 (Zuma 125 in the U.S.) is T-max's little, off-roadable, cousin.

    It's my grocery getter of choice, and cruses along at 65 (with help from a few mods) quite nicely.

    It's not doubt, but rather just an identity confusion.

    For me, I just figure, if you want a chill little scooter to ride up the street to the grocery store or to ride the 2 or 3 miles through residential roads to get to work, then get a 50cc scooter.

    If you want something that has a decent amount of power and nicer on the highway and at higher speeds, buy a motorcycle.

    I just would never take a scooter on the highway, no matter the power.

    On a scooter, I feel like you're sitting ON, it, vs when on a motorcycle, you're a PART of it.

    Just my thoughts about it. I'm sure they're fun, but IMO not something I'd really have the desire to own by any amount of urgency. Plus, you can buy a really nice motorcycle for around the same price. That's one of the biggest gripes I have.

    They ARE nice for older people with back issues or that have a hard time getting one leg over a bike I'm sure.

    Part of why I have one of each is that they do serve different purposes, though a large scooter can fill both roles (and carry home a couple bags of groceries). One thing that I do like.....having the choices that we currently do. I can't find another time in the two-wheeled world where there have been so many good choices of what to ride. One day....a long time from now ( I hope ) Instead of having to give up riding due to some malady (I'm thinking hip replacement here), I'll be able to switch to something else......
