That oil cooler has me curious: does anyone know where the hoses to and from the cooler connect with the engine? I have one of chacal's spin-on oil filter adapters installed so if the oil cooler requires the stock oil filter setup then I'll forget about it.

    Thanks!

I have an oil cooler on my 550 Seca and didn't purchase the spin on adapter because it might stick out from the engine too far and make contact with the exhaust pipes.

A ring about an inch thick is sandwiched between the block and the standard replacement filter element / cover.

There are two hose fittings threaded into this ring at the 4 and 8 hour positions.

If there is about 2 or 2-1/2 inches between the pipes and the top of the XJ4EVER upgrade it should fit, if not I don't think so. Not all coolers are the same best to check out the thickness prior to ordering.
