    Hi, my speedo fell to bits ages ago and i've been using a puch bike computer for a speedo (works well) but it's got no backlight for night riding, so i thought i might replace the speedo, i rang a wrecker today and he wanted $250!!! any one got an instrument cluster lying around or will i just go and get an electronic replacement.

    Possibly.............would you mind if it was in MPH, not KPH? Not sure I have a useable one at the moment, but I have a bunch of parts ones--I'll have to check, if you wish.

    Hi hogfiddles, pretty sure it has to be in Km/h for Vic. roadworthy, plus need Km/h as speed camera's here are pretty tight on speed limits. Seriously looking at an Acewell 3963 which has a temp gauge as well.

    I would be happy to pay for something like that but not for a secondhand speedo that might not last.

    That's what I sort of suspected, but thought I'd check.

    I'll keep my ears/eyes open for a bit in case something pops up over here.
