looks like a maxim 650, with a modified exhaust 4-to-1 system since there is no centerstand. the poor thing is about ready to fall over, just look at how cockeyed the steering is. or perhaps it was wrecked cause the forks look twisted slightly ?? and the tank is beat up on the shown side

Haha, I thought exactly the same for my 900 Seca, but maybe they wouldn't fit!

Deffinately agree with this. Grab bar/Single disc brake/Seat all lead to that ID. '81 XJ650 Maxim. Layed down on the right side (tank/exhaust). I see approx 800-1000 in parts sitting there.

Yes they will! All 650/700/750/900 share the same mounting locations.

I'm curious about the transparent right grip.

    Dibs on the oil cooler!

Looks more like multiple handlebar ends! However, I know it's not that, and it's not a clear grip, either. The Right-hand grip is the cheap big foamy kind, right in front of the overly-large master cylinder. The Left-hand grip is missing, and all we can see is the bare bar end. What makes it look funny is that the clutch lever is showing and we're looking at the backside of the lever. If you look really close, you can see the ball-end of it.

I am getting a kick out of the tach that popping out of the shell, the headlight rim popping out of IT'S shell, the snapped-off right turn signal, the passenger footrest that's splayed backwards, the missing brake lever, and the empty battery box.

Now that I take a closer look. That right case guard does not look to healthy either. There is a bit of rash just above the lower bend.

Dave you are correct about the left grip. The clutch lever threw me off.

Gotta love picking on craigs list bikes.

Look closer at the pic! They have already been tested! You may not want them.

Those are the old KG style. Not true triples, but deffinately better than the normal 2 point bars. I have a set on my Midnight. They fit well, and are not overly bulky looking. You will need longer bolts for the front motor mounts to install them.

For the 650/750/900 Secas, the cool "factory option" engine guards are these: (Sorry for the rather poor pic, it's the best one I could glom off the innanet in short order.)
