You're da man Polock! Way to save worlds-fastest's butt. He sounded really lost! You sure do know your stuff.

And generous of you to share you great wealth of knowledge with the unskilled and inexperienced. You're hopefully helping train the next generation of master wizards.

Hush, now. You're gonna screw up the pool. 8O

(Just wait for "bike starts fine cold, won't start once warm." Then the pool pays out.)

The shop that did the valves and carbs for your PO lied (or he did.)

Yeah, I know. It's just that Mr. Fastest is clearly involved way beyond his abilities here, and without people like you who are willing to help out, he'd be lost.

I suspect he won't thank you and the rest of the forum's true experts for spoon feeding him, but I will.

    Thanks!!

Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
I give it until mid-late march when temps start holding in the 40's to 50's.
Young pup will be back knowing just what he needs to do again.

And he still will not have done the basic maintenance that is required to keep the bike running properly.

Anyone wanna take odds on a part out come spring?

I would like the side covers - as spares. Oh - and the signal lights too.

Just want to say Adios before your kicked off the site. You have a lot to learn young man. It's very obvious that you just not ready yet. Don't forget the brake upgrade, you'll want to be able to stop the worlds fastest XJ....

    Good luck and be Safe...

Wow! First time I have seen this conversation. I have a 750 with pods and a V&H 4-1. I used a carb kit, 132 mains drilled slides and adjustable needle did mine good. Just sayin, spose Fastest won't be seeing this oh well his loss.
