check my sig. There's a special place in my heart for any early CB. Even one that wants to be a P11* when it grows up.

*First member that knows what a P11 is wins a prize. No fair Googling.

PII refering to the classification the bike can compete in, IE: PI, PII, etc.

Nope. P11 as in P-eleven. Not even close. Remember, no Google.

If I remember correctly, someone was trying to say that a P11 was some sort of "hybrid pistol" that never actually existed. It was either this or that, but it definitely wasn't a P11.

    Yep, you got it.

The Norton P11, the last of the BIG-bore "heavyweight" desert racing bikes. Let's stuff a 750 twin in a dirt bike frame:

Or never mind the dirt bike frame, let's just make our big street bike into a "scrambler:"

All of these are really nice looking bikes. While I share the sentiment of the man who restored the bike Polock posted in that I would want to be able to give her justice by riding her the way she's suppose to be ridden whatever other bikes he has must be as beautiful for him to make the decision to sell her. Also, he said he's looking for his next project so he's probably done this enough times to where a bike in that condition doesn't faze him like it does me. I'd have one question for him...can I ride?
