Hi, I posted an introduction about a week agoe with some pics of a 82 650 Maxim I just bought

Keep in mind that I'm 62 years old and my mental picture of a motorcycle includes Peter Fonda riding it. I'm trying to decide between 3 sissy bars available on e-bay. I have a friend who's a welder so I can probably make any of them fit.One is off a xs1100 and is an original Yamaha

and the other two I was thinking of possibly using the spade pad on.

Just wanted an opinion as to what you think and how much of a senile old fool you think I'd look with it.

Do whatever you need to do to get the lady on the bike !!

The first one does look cool, then twisted metal.

The first one is too harleyesque.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. When I was in my 20's I had a twisted one I moved to 3 or 4 bikes...

SWMBO will be the first to tell you that the only taste I have is in my mouth. So, IMHO, I'm not really big on the idea of an ol'school sissy bar on a sport bike...

I like the twisty one, and an image of Jack N. in that football helmet on the back. Awesome.

Twisty one, I like that ace pad. The problem with the first one is that, in my opinion, there's nothing worse than trying to look like a wanna-be Harley. Real Harleys are bad enough :) :)
