    Wow ... my XJ is back from the painter .. it's FINE real FINE ... have to start it up .... rats no left turn signal. I thought it was sure to be the signal relay. So I pulled it off and headed to the dealer ... "WHAT" do you know what they want for a new relay up in the frozen north ( Canada) $94.00 !! You must be joking.
    I better check the forum .... bla .. bla .. bla .. the signal light socket ?
    Well I'll have a look .. there is a little corrosion , I'll clean it up..
    BLAM ... works great!
    Total cost of repair .... $ 0.00
