    If you like Engineering.
If you enjoy things built with Precision.
If you marvel at what a Machinist can do with a chunk of Aluminum or Steel.
    This video will astound you!

    Behold.
    The World's Smallest ... V-12

A Spanish engineer named Patelo has crafted what he calls "probably" the world's smallest V12 engine -- a labor of love built from 261 aluminum, bronze and stainless-steel pieces that the engineer designed, turned, milled and drilled himself to the tune of 1,200 hours of work.
In context, that's equivalent to 50 straight 24-hour days.
(The machine is not for sale, and is dedicated to his grandchildren.)

The engine, with its 12-cubic-centimeter displacement (from twelve 11.3-millimeter-diameter pistons).
    Runs on compressed air injection.

I ran across that too. My father was a machinist for Freightligner (he started before they had any CNC machines), so I have a huge respect for the art and craft. As awesome as that little V-12 is I like this just a little better; mainly because it runs on fuel.

Some people might prefer a V-8

And here is a video interview of the builder of that fantastic V-12

OK, I need to stop looking at videos before I spend my retirement money.
1/4 scale drag car with 1/4 scale V-8
I'm tempted to get one of these engines made and put it into a scooter :D It wouldn't be fast, but it'd sure sound good.

I really enjoyed watching the "Process".
    Polishing the Journals.
Attaching the lower-half of the Big-ends on a Connecting Rod and Piston that he displayed sitting on his fingertip with room to spare.
The two tiny Camshafts that he held in the palm of his hand were unbelievable.
