Well after riding this for the last 6 months or so I decided I liked riding enough that I wanted to upgrade and just bought a Yamaha FZ6R, so this is now up for sale or part out.

I think $1500 OBO for the complete bike and if that doesnt happen I will start parting it out.

    Pros
It runs and I have replaced the battery, hand grips, replace mirrors with handle bar mirrors, replaced the stock turn signals with smaller arrow style, steel braided lines.

    Cons
Needs break pads, forks rebuilt and tires should probably be replace soonish...

I will post updated pix in the next few days, if your interested in the complete bike let me know or if looks for parts let me know that too.

Project thread with some pix: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=39357.html

Can you post a picture of the right hand controls? I'm needing a replacement for my bike that is in good condition.

With that much working needing to be done you won't get $1500-that is book value for an excellent bike

Part it out or wait forever.

You are also unlikely to get the whole thing parted out quickly. I tried parting out a car once, and I won't do it again. You get a few small pieces sold quickly and the rest just sits.

If you really want to sell the whole thing, wait a couple of months People will be a lot more likely to buy a bike when it's warmer.
