Ok so i am bobbing out my 650.
I have finished with everything i am trying to do to it. I go to crank it up, starts fine runs solid. I get on the thing pull in my clutch, and look down i have everything right. shift it in to first it lurches and stalls. sooo, it being a used bike i replaced my clutch disks, followed the directions from these forums even. Start it up......same deal... Its like there is no clutch at all.

I am losing my mind... I just want to ride my bike.

Any suggestions of what it might be?

You may not have the throwout lever on top of the case positioned to get a full pull on the mechanism.

Your cable may be bad, and stretching rather than pulling as it should. You could have a cable routing or adjuster issue. Check the bracket at the lower end, be sure its not cracked. We've had a couple of folks discover the lower bracket was cracked and flexing when the lever was pulled.

Were you careful to align the dot cast into the pressure plate with the dot on the hub?

How worn are your hub and basket, from contact with the plates?

Are you missing the plate washer between the wafer bearing and the pressure plate? How did the wafer bearing look?
