    Hi Guys
I was looking to buy the correct parts manual and owners manuals for my XJ900 and XJ750 but have to admit to being confused totally by the model codes.

    The 750 Vin is 5N1000410.

    The XJ900 starts 58M.

I was told they were both Australian delivered.

Thanks in advance for the help.

    Cheers
    Paul

All you never wanted to know about your bikes VIN #

TECH TOPIC: Model ID and VIN's

The break down of your 2 bikes.

Edit: One click of the button too late. Chacal beat me to it.

    Looks like you have an 81 xj750 standard (A.K.A. Seca in the U.S.), and a 85 XJ900F

Wouldn't the difference between the '81 and '83 be the black paint on the engine (83) ??
