WANTED **84 XV700L rear wheel** WANTED

I need an 84 XV700L rear wheel. I would prefer a spoked rim. If you have for one for sale, let me know. Thanks

 

That's what was on the xv700. Now, If you're planning to put in on a maxim or a seca, you're going to have to do more work than just swapping the rim.

They are NOT the same sizes as the virago.

Thanks Hogfiddles. I read somewhere on here that it was a straight swap (with brake) onto my '82 XJ650. Do you think that is accurate? I'm not in love with my blender mags.

 

To the best of my knowledge it is NOT a direct swap.

You CAN swap the FRONTS though...........

Yes the XV700L rear wheel is a direct swap, But for the 650's you will also need to get the brake plate with the wheel.

The front end is a bit more complicated as it will require the entire front fork assembly to be swapped.

I guess I thought he was referring to one bike, then I thought he was asking about a different bike.......I went back to look at the original post, and don't see ANY bike listed, so I bow out of the conversation........
