I'm a former Santa Rosa native. I head that way a couple times a year to visit old friends, so perhaps this summer once my bike is all back together and I'm sure it'll make the trip we can take a ride and maybe grab a beer.

Hey, I live in Santa Rosa :)
I bought an 83 Turbo in Dec in the North Bay with 5,100 miles on it.
Had it at G&B Cycle Pro for 6 weeks. The bike was older than the mechanic and he'd never seen one before. I found tons of helpful info on this site so he had a good idea how to work on it. He actually fell in love with it and hated to see it go. He only charged me for 10hrs of labor + parts. I got it back a few weeks ago and it's just an outstanding ride. Take it out as often as I can.

I'm over in napa, but would be stoked to scoot over the hill for a ride.

bit of an old thread, but just in case anyone checks back,
Check out Santa Rosa Motorcycle group on Meetup.com

I've done a couple rides with them. Took my Seca Turbo out last weekend, 22 bikes did a Lake Berryessa loop. Very cool

Almost wanna chuck my bike on a ship and come for a ride in the USofA, the only buddy I have to ride with has a Triumph Speedmaster, but I can honestly say he likes my 30 year old bike better than his 6 year old Triumph.
