Looks like a big willow. These trees grow fast.

Lol yep big trees on Jupiter! Its a cottonwood tree, and last time we checked it was the 2nd biggest in the USA! It marks the entrence of my trails. It was planted around 1860 my grandparents tell me, there is another up by the house that was planted around WW2. Takes about 7 hugs to wrap all the way around the one in the picture, sadly he's dying :( I removed all the numbers today and painted the plastics black (eventually ill order some black plastics)

I have 2 customers I'm hoping to get finished up in the next couple weeks (1 motor rebuild, 1 motor swap) so ill get a nice paycheck from them and hopefully finish the last of the XJ's winter restoration, then clean it and get some pics on a nice sunny day!

As far as I know (I'm a forestry engineer) we don't have cottontree up here, the most similar tree we have is black willow.

I've been in business for 30 years, but I'm always impressed by how big and how old trees can grow.

Biggyfaction, Do you mean the rake on the front end? I put the front end off a 750 Virago on the bike. I had to have the steering stems swapped as the Virago's stem is longer. The forks are 4 inches longer and the triple tree has some rake built in so I didn't need to change the head tube. Changed to stance and look without changing the levelness of the engine.

This is my 83 XJ750K. Picture was taken BEFORE she was put on the road. And it does have new tires on it now. This how she looked when I got it for free.
