750 maxim seat cover

    Does anyone know the best way to get my seat recovered, im in the UK and i cant find anywhere that supply seat covers for the Maxim. I've tried a local place, but they want a huge amount to do it...

    any help will be good..

    If you can remove your seat cover, trace the pattern on material you bought, cut everything out, then your "Pro" only has a 15 minute sewing job. You re-fit it yourself with a staple gun.

    Cut the material a bit oversize as the old cover has shrunk.

    Hey that doesn't look half bad either... will keep this in mind "if" I get the seized seca, that's got a ripped seat. lol

    sorry - been busy getting work in the way of my enjoyment!! Yes i saw your post, asked the question of the seller, but he doesn't know if this fits the Seca or the maxim? Do you know if this will?

    I then took them to an upholstery shop and they charged me 30$ a seat - worth it to me to have them on there professionally. However, im sure you could do a decent job with a staple gun.

    Here's the final result. The other one in the picture is for my seca.

    Thanks for the help, i check the shipping on the seat cover and it's $50 - gulp!

    such a shame there doesn't appear to be any over here!
