1982 XJ750 Maxim in Excellent shape in Wisconsin

    SOLD $1375

    1982 Yamaha Maxim. Last fall carbs cleaned and sync'd, new plugs, valves adjusted, the brakes checked, an Amsoil oil change and a general going-over at CR Yamaha in Belleville WI. Previous owner had a top end re-build and new ignition spring of 2011. Runs great. Plenty of power. Has windshield, new battery this spring. Ready to drive. Needs absolutely nothing. A little cold blooded, but starts right up with the choke set properly before firing. Slight ding in gas tank from previous owner. Has the side covers and the original nameplates. Reason for selling is very little time to ride and when I do, it's to work and back, and I find my 125 cc scooter safer for commuting in bumper to bumper traffic. Has 28,000 miles. Front tire newer, back tire has 1000 mi left according to mechanic.

    Can't afford (or risk marriage) for a 3rd XJ750J even if it is running :(
    I am curious about that atari gauge cluster "windshield"... Can you take more pictures or sell it separate :)
