Pretty much; but they are all slightly differently shaped.

on the end of each header pipe (the end that goes into the engine head) there is a number (1-4) stamped if you have original stock exhaust. You surely didn't wrap those ends, cause if so how you gonna get the pipe mounted back, haha. Obviously 1-4 refer to the location of each pipe with respect to the engine going from left to right...

    They're numbered.

Down on the end, right by where they go into the collector, they should have a "4G0-1" "4G0-2" etc., stamped in them.

#1 goes on the far left, then 2, 3, 4 from left to right.

NO. If what I believe your asking.

Its always from "sitting on the bike" view. Number 1 would be left if you're facing forward on the bike.

    Same methodology for carburetors.

No, far left as you sit on the bike is 1... ;)

    STILL HAVE???? 8O

Do you have any IDEA how hard it was to put together a stock exhaust system for this bike? (I got it with a rusty Kerker 4-1 with an open megaphone.)

And then, to DO IT AGAIN???

"Still have" indeed. It takes one whale of a lot of doing to "still have" the stock exhaust system on a 550R, or any 550 for that matter.

But the bikes love it (and so do I.) Feast your eyes.

Lol that's probably true for most of the bikes here that "still" have OEM exhausts...

However, mine does still have it's original, fitted at the factory, system in good shape. I'm more than a little glad too! How would you fancy the idea of putting together a replacement system for one of these Fitz? I know I wouldn't :?
