I have a 1983 750 se a I'm doing a mod on and I am wanting to change from a double factory set up to a single 7 inch with halo ring light Hb4 60/ 55 to be exact. My question is how to hook up the high and low beams. The factory uses a two light setup and it will now be a single unit. How do I do the wiring to make it work for a single???

You double posted but any way the seca 750 has a high and low beam on the top head light . The bottom light is just a aux light or extra light fog light .Some of them came with a yellow lens on bottom light . You can use high /low plug from top light and simply tuck plugs from second light away inside new head light .

The aux light wires will do a fine, and convenient, job of powering the halo ring.

ya you can just toss the aux light if you want then swap out the healight unit for your fancy halo one, wire the projector light up to the factory headlight circuit then like elk and k-moe said you can just run the aux wiring into the halo ring, you can also bypass the aux switch/ wiring and just run constant power when the key is on.

its all up to how creative you want to be.
