I had my original until it created a FUBAR situation with my gas cap.

Inspect that 30 year old key really well.

    Or this can be you:

You don't have a spare?? Sketchyy.

A pita of re-coring all your locks in the event you would lose it all saved by a 4$ copy given to a friend for safe keeping and another to throw in the toolbox.

I have the/a original for my maxim, along with a copied spare, and for my seca I just have a copy. Going to have a key cut from a legit Yamaha key blank though once it's back on the road.

Two Yamaha keys came with mine. I believe to both be originals...they at least appear to be thirty years old!

I've got 3 "original" keys, all genuine Yamaha but one C for the ignition, one is B for the tank & another A for the seat... How that happened I don't know :?

Just reminded me I've got to get that situation sorted, will have to get a spare ign key while I search out a lock set...
