Ok I want to find out if anyone could help shine some light on a few items. I have a 81' Seca 750 and I want to swap out my perfectly good headlight and instrument panel (gauges) with a round headlight (7" or 8") and round gauges off a Yamaha of some other type. I would prefer black shells. Also, I would like a more simple stock indicator panel. I want to say the old Heritage has that set up but has a mechanical tach.(I need a electronic tach) I guess if I had to I could paint them if not black. If, I can find these parts I will sell or trade mine parts. The instrument panel I have, has a carbon fiber face plate. Really cool and easy to do...anyway I hope you can help out...Thanks!

I just installed a Danmoto 180 digital gauge on my CB500/650. Very pleased with it so far.

Those pics are from before programming. It's now in MPH and is very accurate. Tach works nice. Only thing I can't get it to do is reset the trip odometer.

I guess I am looking for some Maxim Parts....? Does the Maxim 650 have a electronic tach? Does anyone have Headlight and gauges for sale? Surely someone wants to donate or trade me for my Seca 750 parts?? Any takers??

I would suggest a 7" headlight, as they're far more common than the 8". As for the instruments, I personally like the look of a pair of simple, analog tach/speedo meters. Just a speedo OR tach works too, with a bit of brain power. If you want a specific color, be patient with the spray can..

On the right bike (midnight max with steam punk cues maybe?) I think an old 9 or 10" brass acetylene car lamp converted to HID would look good... IJS
