    For Sale 86 Maxim X. Fork seals done, tires good, just installed carb kits and adjusted. This bike is in great to excellent condition. All original and unmolested for the collectors out there.     1000 sounds like a good down payment. You know it's worth more than that considering the condition and you can ride it home.

    Just over 30K. Didn't mean to offend, I know from your posts in the past you have a lot of experience. I've owned and ridden this bike for about 4 years now. Bought a bigger bike so wife can ride too. She wanted to learn to ride on the X but knee surgery forces her to be a passenger for a while longer. Plus I need to replace my old lawn mower so this bike needs to go.
