I've been searching the forum looking for oil filter brands and sizes for the 1982 Maxim XJ750J. I could not find the info the manual or the supplement. I found a post were the Fram CH6003 could be used. Is there a list of brands and size information on here. A search does not seem to bring up anything but I may not be typing in the right information.
    Thanks

The FRAM Filter is a good choice.
You get a quality Filter along with BOTH O-rings included.

They're worth Ordering and Pre-paying for a couple.

I was told by the guy at the auto-parts that the WIX-24934 would do the trick (because he didn't have FRAMs). The oil filter itself was OK but the large o-ring was a little too thin. I wasn't confident it would seal properly so I put back the old one. No leak for the moment.

So i'd say buy the FRAM CH6003.

Thanks quebecois59. Where can I order them or do local motorcycle shops or auto parts places have them?

Both Advance and autozone stopped carrying the fram filter. Napa carries the wix filter
