    Hey everyone!
I've found a good deal on a fuel tank in great shape from an XJ550, and I need one for my XJ650. Will it fit? I've been told they're both 3.4 gallons which makes me think they're the same, but on some websites they have different part numbers.
    Anyone know for sure?
    thanks,
    Scott

Oh - sorry. Maxim not Seca. Trying to find out of the 550 Maxim tank fits the 650 Maxim. Thanks.

If I'm correct, the 550 tank is smaller and wouldn't fit the 650. Fitz will know for sure, he knows a lot about the 550's.

Thanks for that information. I'm glad I checked. I was a little concerned about it fitting, but its such a tempting deal because it's a tank that's never been on a bike and they really are hard to find in good shape. How would I reach Fitz to confirm? I'm new on this site so I'm not sure what the protocol is.

If he doesn't post soon, you can go to Members List at top left and look up (bigfitz52) and send a PM, or find a thread with his comment and click on the PM tab.
