Pod filter simple modification

    Hey guys, I'm new to this site and have been building a 1980 maxim 650 bobbed build after a day or so of trying to tune carbs without rejecting (besides stealing the jets from my 750 SECA I decided to try somthing out of the ordinary so I fabricated some baffles to go inside of the pod itself to essentially restrict and calm the airflow I reassembled it today and it runs much better vastly improved throttle response haven't had the chance yet to road test this experiment but so far so good. I will report more updates once weather permits.
    Beings that this is still only a theory yet I'd appreciate some input, thoughts and concerns

    Also I know the common perils with putting pods on this style of Carb so please don't tell me to just put the airbox back in. Due to the extent of the modifications on the bike that won't be an option
