83 seca headlight / cluster wiring harness/ re do universal

    1983 seca 750 xjr I need help re-working my rats nest behind the headlight. Everything is going to be a chrome round universal speedometer and tachometer round 2 inches chrome style. I gotta know what's necessisty and what can be eliminated the short cuts ??? Please help.

    start here with Ctureks writeup

    that will get you a perfectly running bike without the atari then you can hook up your new gauges.


    if your looking to really clean wiring you can lookup simplified wiring harness and strip the entire bike down to the bare essentials of wiring
