clutch pushrod torsion spring replacement help

    just as the title says Ive searched the forums and can't find any help google was useless, Does anyone know how I go about changing the pushrod torsion spring (little spring by where the clutch cable joins to housing and do I need to remove everything from housing or can i just take top piece off drop the spring on and go?? thanks for help everyone and sorry if terminology is incorrect I have a clymer manual but can't find this in it, just want to get riding again to late in the year for my liking.

    The little spring on top of the housing that pushes the lever back and takes up the slack in the cable?

    Just pop the c-clip and washer and lift the lever off. If it's currently operating fine/doesn't need adjusting, mark the shaft and lever so it goes back on the same splines.

    That's exactly it when I took bike out of storage clutch lever slack after tinkering with freeplay discovered spring bent and that is where my issue lies thanks very much
