friend just dumped my bike. started right up after, but gauges are broken and warped (still work though!) and headlight cluster is thrashed too. the rim seems like it might be bent as well.

so if anyone has a parts bike that isnt running but has a decent front end for cheap in MN or western WI, pm me

its going to be 90 tomorrow. perfect timing :(

ps: could also use a new rear brake lever, and somehow, also a new foot shifter. no idea how falling on the right side bent both the brake and the lever but somehow it did.

Glad you're alright, though! Eaiser to replace bike parts than it is to replace body parts....

Check with BluesBass, he just got a whole bunch big load of parts in.....

thats exactly why i, while pretty devastated as it was almost done, couldnt even be too upset. had my friend lost a leg or worse, i would have had to live with crushing guilt and i would much rather live with garden-variety devastation :)

its finally nice out in mn though, literally, today is the first hot day and its really unfortunate.

i will pm him, thanks for the heads up dave!

If he doesn't have anything at the moment, let me know--I just got a few more parts in.

cool guys, thanks! i know for sure i need the gauge cluster, as the glass broke but it still works... the headlight bucket and holders/clamps, foot shifter, right side clutch cover, and depending if when i take a closer look today the bike isnt true anymore, then perhaps the forks, axles, etc... i mean, it was def crooked last night but it was tough to tell if it was warped/bent or just knocked out of alignment, either the bars, or something. was tough to tell.

    such a mess!

i will know more in a few hours when im off work. somewhat dreading doing an actual inspection. going to make me sad i suspect

I have a 650 front wheel, and am not too far away (Stevens point)

I have 750 forks if that helps as well.
