I am looking to put the smallest, cleanest bullet signals i can find on for the front turn signals. who has done it and how did you mount them? i would like to remove those old ugly stems and try to clean it up a bit, suggestions?

    Thanks guys

I did the opposite, removed the bullets and installed originals.

If you are going to install them in the stock location:

The stem on the new signal will need to be the same size as the originals, they are a standard size so that shouldn't be a problem.

You will also need to change your flasher relay with a two prong electronic flasher unit and you will lose your self cancel feature.

Left mine in the stock location by tapping the stems, then threaded new ones into the stems.

guys, ok i found a badass headlight. installed. but now my led signals dont work, because all the signals are led now. i put a flasher in when i replaced my rear signals with led last summer. is there a different type of flasher if all are led now?

ok guys, im sorry for yet another flasher question but this is driving me nuts. i ordered a .02-20amp flasher. but the wiring is different. what are the colors/designation for our wires. there are 3 so im thinking 1 is 12v and the other 2 are left and right. correct?

DO NOT throw the auto-cancelling unit away. They're worth $$$.

I just grabbed a two prong flasher from my garage. The flasher was in my old camaro. Plugged it in the bike and everything works. Better than paying 20 bucks for a special flasher.

guys, im starting to get realllll mad here. yet another flasher doesnt work. what is going on? does anybody have 4 led signals on their bike, and use a flasher. where did you get it. so far i have bought 3. none work. as soon as i press left or right signal, they all go on like hazards.

    add some resistors?
I had the same issue. Those LED's take way less power.

I have gone through 4 different flashers now. All of them do the same, no matter which direction is on, all i get is the hazard situation. 2 prong 3 prong no load low load bah

the flasher isn't your problem, the flasher just turns power on/off.
the switch directs the power to the left or right. somewhere the left and right are connected together and they all go on/off the same.
try unplugging the back ones and see if the front ones act right, then unplug the front ones and see if the back ones work. you don't need a flasher yet, just jump the power wire to the load wire and get steady on lights till you get them acting right

alright after doing some troubleshooting, i came to the conclusion that the wires were shorting out somewhere. i never touched the wiring and couldnt find any damaged areas but regardless that was the problem. i ran some new wires and all the signals work perfect! pretty pumped.
