New Member in The UK, Just saying hello

Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Mike I'm in North Wales in the UK.
I recently bought ax '82 XJ550 which had been stood for 5 years.
The posts on here have helped no end, I've stripped the carbs and rebuilt, done the back brake, adjusted the camchain and checked the valve clearance. She runs like a dream now, (apart from the dreaded clutch rattle on tickover).

I took her friday for her MOT and she passed with flying colours with an advisory for slightly notchy steering.

I promptly brought her home and have completley stripped her.

I'm going to start a thread, restoring on a shoestring in the mod's forum, hope to see you over there.
